Commentary for Return of the Living Dead Part 2!
On Wednesday, May 16th, I had the pleasure of participating in the commentary for "Return of the Living Dead Part 2!"
It was so much fun and I had the opportunity to do it with the wonderful and talented Michael Perez from Michael Perez Entertainment! Many of you will know Michael as the producer of the wonderful documentary called "MORE BRAINS! A Return to the Living Dead" in 2010 among many other documentaries.
When I arrived at the studio, I was really surprised that the studio was inside a beautiful home in Los Angeles! Michael was there to greet me and we then went inside to discuss preparation for the documentary. I had never done a documentary so this was so exciting for me! We went into a smaller room within the studio where we put on headphones and heard the film going while discussing it in detail.
Michael asked some great questions!
Most fans always thought that I was wearing a wig throughout the film, but that was actually my real hair! There was only one scene where I had to wear a wig and it was when actor Thom Mathews had to eat my brain! A question that always seems to come up is why I had red hair considering I was natural a blond. The reason was that there was already a blond in the film (Marsha Dietlein) and they wanted me to be "different" with a different hair color.
One of the memories I have was how incredible the craft services were during filming.
The food provided was incredible and I guess it was because after the success of the first film, they had a larger budget to provide more to the cast and crew.
I would like to recognize my fellow ROTLD Part 2 castmates: James Karen, Thom Mathews, Marsha Dietlein, Dana Ashbrook, Michael Kenworthy, Thor Van Lingen and the rest of the cast and crew! Although many people have mixed emotions about the film, I had a total blast! It was a very fond experience for me and I always love to share my memories with fans at conventions!
Thank you all for reading my blog (the first of many to come!). Please check back for future blogs!
